What Should I Do With My iPhone 2G (Edge)

i am going to buy the iphone 4 soon.

what is my best move here?

1. give it to my sister who is already on my at&t family plan
2. jailbreak it and sell it on e-bay. i can prob get $100 for it.

Depending on your AT&T store, you may be able to use it as a low cost "Go Phone" at $9 a month.

If you're a do it yourself kind of person, you could buy a cheap Go Phone from AT&T, activate it with $25 (3 Month plan) and then swap the SIM card with your iPhone 2g.

You won't have data, (except for wifi), but you get a nice 'iPod touch / emergency phone' out of it.

That, or sell it on Ebay / Trade it into radioshack... You won't get what it's worth though unless you get lucky.
