Recently a 21" Gateway monitor which was purchased around 2 years ago quit on me. It is an LCD screen, and is a flat panel. It looked like the problem was something to do with power, because as soon as it got plugged in it would shut off in a weird way. Since I knew it was out of warranty and definitely wasn't worth even calling gateway to deal with their support, I thought I would explore and see what the insides consist of. I had no problem risking damage to any of the parts, by the way. Now I am left with an LCD screen, which is huge, and only has basic cords sticking out of it. Is there anything I can do with this plain LCD? It is huge and I am wondering if I can put it to use somehow, maybe by buying some basic components I could bring it back to life?

Just curious though,
Thanks
