What should I get?

So here is the sitrep: I'm a student who does work. I use past papers and I have to do it around the house, not in my room only, as teachers come for tuitions and do it somewhere else. Aah, a macbook air might help,y ou say.

But here is where it gets complicated. I also work with 3d graphics software as I'm beginning game developing. I want a big screen, as working with split views on a 17" laptop is annoying. So the iMac would be a choice,as the mac pro is just too expensive. I'm developing for mobile, not console, so I don't need that much power.

I wouldn't really want a macbook pro as they are the same price as the iMacs, and hooking it up to another monitor, would be again very expensive. My current macbook pro is kind of old already, so it's time for a replacement.

So I want a solution please. Anything. It may be unrealistic, but it's not just limited to one device.

Any good app on iPad with the ability to group folders and multiple subfolders? Because I have folders with subfolders with subfolders! Sorry if I'm skewing off topic.

Depends on what you're going to group. Apps can be grouped in the UI like on the iPhone or OS X Launchpad. If you want to keep PDFs, spreadsheets, pictures and presentations in folders the way you do in Finder, I suggest you use DropBox or an equivalent service to keep your files.

Depends on what you're going to group. Apps can be grouped in the UI like on the iPhone or OS X Launchpad. If you want to keep PDFs, spreadsheets, pictures and presentations in folders the way you do in Finder, I suggest you use DropBox or an equivalent service to keep your files.

We have all been unfairly moderated.

I would use DropBox or something similar for grouping PDFs. Then you can keep them in sync between devices too.
