Found out my local tech store replaces iPhone 7 batteries for $79.99

And also found out eBay sells battery replacements for the same phone for around $10-$25

I'm wondering what I should be looking for before purchasing a battery replacement on eBay, considering I'm sure some are better than others.

I'm guessing including "OEM" in my search may not be enough in finding a good quality battery.

Send your phone to Apple to have the battery replaced. It will only cost $49 plus tax. Stay away from eBay as you don’t truly know what you are getting.

Dude that is awesome! I had no idea, thank you so much.

I have 3 iPhones in the family I want battery replacements for.

1. iPhone 7 Plus
2. iPhone 7
3. iPhone SE (1st Gen)

The link you provided lists $49 for each battery replacement. All iPhone's are no longer any warranty, but am pleased to see the price remains at $49. However, I have one concern regarding the iPhone 7 phone; about a year ago I replaced the screen and it works well with no issues, however the Touch ID functionality does not work and am wondering if Apple would use that as a reason to halt a battery replacement for that one particular phone of the three. Thanks for the great replies again.

They could deny replacement for that one phone. I would still try as you may get lucky.
