It is a 1.6GHz 80GB ssd 2gb ram....NO box or manuals, warranty till Aug '09...he is asking 800 I said 700 he said nope. Yes, I know it's a REV A

I see I can buy these on apple.com/refurb for $999, so what is a good price?

$700.
Rev A has KNOWN heat issues and while not all affected, many many were.
The line has since seen 2 other revisions. The guy standing strong on going no more than $200 under refurb is silly. Ask him if it's ever been repaired and the fact that there's no box or anything I would not offer over $700.

There has never been an 80GB SSD on the MBA. It's either a 64GB SSD or 80GB HDD.

Oops sorry my bad. I meant to say HDD.
But yes, that is correct and I stand by what I say $700 and not a penny more.

$700 is a fair price, I sold mine 1st Gen MBA for $650 and that had a pretty good ding in the corner where I had dropped it accidently.

...I know people aren't crazy about netbooks due to the "power" of them but when I look at people who have MBA's (especially rev A units) and I pull out my $300 eeePC and don't have to plug in a USB hub, etc... to be productive with it on the go I just sort of laugh...

The 13" uMB/MBP's with the current pricing and "real" GPU = that would have made me re-think getting a netbook over a year ago...
