random thought, but after looking through the 45 running applications through activity monitor, i noticed that all of them are intel based. but then i looked through the user section and im clueless on whats legit applications and what could be faulty apps?

whats on my list is a ton under my own mbp user name. and a ton that says roots and the other ones are usbmuxd, coreaudiod, windowserver, mdnresponder, and daemon.

normal?

thanks!! :D but lets say if i were to by any chance get spyware or anything buggy on my mac (rare i know, but...) will it show up under the activity monitor? where would be the best place to look through to spot such things?
