Movie :
Top Gun
Prey
Free Guy

Series:
Andor
Orville

Need more Orville. Even though the humor was crazy in the beginning, I wish they would have shifted a little less to serious with nearly no humor. I did think it was neat how some things paralleled with Classic Trek Things.

Movies:

Top Gun: Maverick - Best movie I have seen in years.
Jurassic World: Dominion

Series:

Ted Lasso
Reacher
Andor

Wednesday

Kinda lost track with Andor, I got about half way through I think?
Wednesday was a surprise hit for me, really enjoyed it.
Need more Orville, no idea if we will though?
Slow Horses is fantastic.
Alice In Borderlands season 2 is good but I preferred the first one I think.
All Of Us Are Dead was great too.

Films, hmm seen a fair few, don’t think any really stood out though? Prey was a pleasant surprise though as it for me was the best one next to Predator 1 and 2.
also enjoyed Glass Onion and Enola Holmes 2, and 1.

Next year I really need to watch Stranger Things, seen the first season.

By far the biggest letdown for me, and a typical modern thing the TV industry does these days, was Westworld, not the show itself, but the fact it’s been dropped before it’s last friggin season! What a waste.

Yes need more Orville! This was the first show that upset me that they went away from traditional yearly seasons.

For films so far, my favorite of 2022 has been The Outfit.

Some of my favorite shows of 2022:

Tokyo Vice, created by Michael Mann of Miami Vice fame. It's based on the life and novel of the same name by American journalist Jake Adelstein. Lots of suspense and mystery in this first season, and the series has been renewed for a second one.

Peacemaker, starring John Cena. In my opinion, this is the best thing Warner has done with DC in the last few years. The producers aren't afraid of going too far, and the show's ridiculousness is what makes it so good.

The Rehearsal, a mockumentary style show by Nathan Fielder of Nathan for You. The show is incredibly meta, and Fielder's deadpan delivery is laugh-out-loud funny. The format is innovative and works well.

The White Lotus returned for a second season, moving the locale from Hawaii to Sicily. The cinematography is gorgeous, and after Tokyo Vice, it was the show for which I was most excited to see the next episode of for 2022.
