What side is your never ending circle on? (it is the progress circle you see at the top when using Mail, Safari etc. See attachment for example).

Funny thing is sometimes mine is on the left of the time, see picture... and I'd never seen that before.

Yours probably moved to the right because for some strange reason you have a giant red question mark taking up space where it would normally be. The fact that it's never ending is a bad sign too. I would take it to the genius bar.:D

it being hacked probably has something to do with it

Actually it's not hacked, what made you think so?

:D... actually though, have you ever seen something like this before ;)?

dang, wish I could delete posts.... I have no idea - take it to "the bar"

The real question is what is the question mark? The question mark and the logner T-mobile text probably displaced your never ending circle.. sorry if this has allready been suggested i havent read the entire thread!

Mine is always on the left, never on the right. In fact, it's not next to the time at all. I believe that is because of your provider name being longer than mine (AT&T). No idea why it would change where it shows up.

I put the ? mark there to say as to why it wasn't there? That ? mark wasnt on the iPhone actually.

I have seen it. Mine (infrequently) moves to the right side, but is usually on the left side. There was no obvious reason for it to move, in the sense that nothing else was taking up the space on the left at the time it moved, and it didn't seem to indicate anything different when it was on the right than when it was on the left.

Remember, the iPhone was designed with the intention of showing the Cingular Alpha Tag, which is the same number of characters as t-mobile.
