What SIM for an european iPad 3 in the US

Hey guys,
I'll be going to Los Angeles in 3 days and I would like to have mobile internet service for my iPad 3.
What Carrier should I choose? I need about 2-4Gigs depending on how much it'll cost.

Another question, will I be able to buy any (prepaid/iPad) SIM as a tourist (do you need an us credit card to activate the data plan?)

You can get an att iPad sim. They are prepaid but you need a US credit card although I'm British and my British American Express card did actually work.

Will I be able to use ATnTs LTE service?
If a british credit card works my swiss credit card should work as well.

Yes LTE will work fine. You need a US cc as I said but American Express seems to be the exception.
