Hey Guys,

I have recently (around 3 weeks ago) purchased a 60 gb 5g Ipod as an upgrade from my 40gb Ipod Photo for the added storage space.

I came across, while reading the forums, people who purchased Martin Field Screen Protectors and I think they look great! However, I'm just wondering what size to order? PDA size? Creative Zen size?

Any advice or experience would be appreciated!

And, for those of you with the protectors... is there any distortion of the screen? especially with video? I just paid 400 dollars for something to play video..and if its distorted thats not going to be ok with me.

I've just ordered both the Fields, and Invisible Shield so I could take a look at em before I pick one. Martin Fields has one that's sized specifically for the 5G iPods -- http://www.overlayplus.com/US/dis_product.asp?model=new_ipod&modeln=iPod%205G%20(Video)

As for video distortion, I don't think the Fields protector will be an issue at all. This thread here over at iLounge -- http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=127884 -- has some insight and a link to some good pics of a 5G with the Fields protector on it. It's amazingly clear, and sounds a bit easier to apply than the Invisible Shield. But might not be as durable/scratch resistant as the IS. Though that's just a guess since I don't actually have either of them yet.

It'll be a tough call. I'm not sure which one to go with.
