I moved from a 13 inch MacBook to a 15 inch MacBook Pro and I don't regret it. The extra screen space is worth it, while the mobility factor is still given. Good choice.

I got a

17" Early 08 MacBook Pro Standard Config
Ordered a 13" Unibody MacBook Pro 2.53GHz with 500GB HDD and US style keyboard

I am a new convert to the MAC world and as such, I decided to get the 13" because I wasn't even sure I would like it, so I didn't want to spend a load of $$$ on the total unknown. Now that I have it, I have learned 2 things:

1. I LOVE the MAC.
2. the 13" is a VERY good size.

Lol I'm getting the same as you but mine will have a SSD:rolleyes:

You will love it :D I test drove my friends 17" but i found that to be too big for on your lap work! it was more suited to a desk!

As for the 15" at this spec it is a powerhouse and i have threw loads at it and it hasn't phased the performance ;)

Wow, I'm looking forward to getting it at the end of the year:rolleyes: The SSD will add more performance as well I'm guessing:D Hopefully this machine will be able to last me the next 4 or 5 years...

The point is it's unnecessary. The information already has been collected, the OP has made plenty of repetitive threads - leading to agree with Bennieboy©

I agree. These people DO realize there's no cash reward for building your post count, especially with repetitive/useless threads/posts, right?

Besides, what difference does it make who owns what size? If you own a 15" and 83% own a 17", what are you going to do? Sell your 15" and buy a 17"? There's no benefit at all to a thread like this, especially since there are too many existing threads this could have been posted in.
