I plumped for the 16gb one but a little piece of me is thinking I should of went for the 32gb as I want to put seem films on it to watch when I work away?

32Gb but I'm having second thoughts. Since I need to stop by the Apple Store, I'll exchange it if they still have 16Gb in stock.

32 gig. I wen't all out on the original iPad 1, 64 gig with 3G. Never used the data much, and less than half the space (with my music collection on there).

I was going for the 16, but then thought, "it has a Video camera on there" so I bumped it up to 32, just in case.

Got 16gb because I wasn't sure how I'd get on with it. Now I wish I went for 32gb.

Haven't bought yet (waiting for the LTE version) but can't decide between 64GB and 32GB. My original iPad, my iPad 2 and my iPad 3 were (are) all 64GB models. I do fill it, but the bulk are movies that I only occasionally watch and certainly don't need to carry around at all times.

I could live within 32GB if I kept it to only a few movies. And since it's only 1024x768, I could go with SD instead of HD video and further save space compared to my current iPad 3.

I'm having an existential crisis over it.

The real question you should ask yourself is... what could you do with that extra $$ that would be more worth it than the extra storage ?

If the answer is "nothing" then get the 64 !

Mini is about low cost, so 16GB, its just an extra device for around here.
Maybe I can now keep my hands on the big iPad...

Probably ;) To be clear, I was thinking about the price difference btw the 32Gb and the 64Gb, not the whole thing.

But you can apply your logic to a luxury gadget like the Mini. You can always find something to do with that $100 just like you can always find something to do with that $430.

Yes, and I do apply it. Sometimes I fail, like when I preordered the mini while half asleep with 32Gb instead of 16Gb. But it's still a good logic to keep in mind. That, plus the "don't buy it if you don't have the cash" one !

32gb. iPad 3 was 16gb and I was annoyed at only having a couple of movies at a time while constantly keeping an eye on storage. IP5 is 32gb too. No regrets this time.

The difference is the spouse-acceptance factor versus the spouse-annoyed-at-yet-another-expensive-Apple-toy factor.

16GB white.
I *think* I need 32GB but not sure.

Is it just me or do apps seem to be smaller in size on the Mini?

16GB. I'd rather have 32 but 16GB will hold value better and I honestly don't expect to keep the Mini for more than a year. I'll upgrade if the iPad 5 is significantly lighter than the current full-sized iPad, or to an iPad mini with retina. But I know 16GB will require compromising. A lot of shuffling of games and media. also I think $100 to go from 16GB to 32GB is a rip-off.
