What kind of software is used for animated mock-ups like this one:

A 3-D rendering program for the shots of the phone... there are a countless number of them and practically any would work for this.

A video editing program... After Effects or Final Cut Pro being the ones most likely used.

Photoshop... for creating all of the pictures, menus and everything else to be displayed on the phone screen.
