What Software?

Hello,

After many years and many inferior pc laptop buys, i have made the move to Mac. I have bought a new MBA 13' and getting used to OSX.

I wanted to know what software you have that you recommend or really enjoy.

The post linked to above gives lots of information, but if I were to suggest only one app it would be Dropbox.

Gives you access (as long as you are online) to everything you have, without having to clutter up your inbox.

I limit the number of folders that's actually synced to one, and access everything else via the web version.

I'd second that.

I'd also recommend Pixelmator for photo editing.

It really depends on what you're looking to do. Are you interested in games, that would cause a number of recommendations.

Writing, or number crunching, well I'd vote for MS office and/or iWork.

I agree for photo editing Pixelmator is a great app,
Browse the Mac App store and see what tickles your fancy, ask about at MacRumors if you have a question about it.
