Hi, it looks like if we click on a link and buy the product from Amazon, youtubers get commissions. Is this correct? What sort of other information do they obtain? What if I already looked at that product site or buy the product later, do they still get our information?

They don’t obtain any of your information. It’s called an affiliate link, it’s a specific URL that contains the YouTubers ID. That way the advertiser knows you were directed to that product by the YouTuber. Then the advertiser will give the YouTuber commission for any sales.
