What spec 15" do Apple carry in store ?

I'm wondering what spec 15"s Apple stores keep on floor/in stock.

Specifically I'm wondering what 1TB SSD options they have.

Even more specifically I'm wondering do they stock the base 2.2Ghz 16GB 1TB RAM option in UK stores ?

They seem to carry three variants at the store. The two base models listed on the website and what is a build to order model that has a 1TB SSD, i9 and 32GB of RAM. If you want the variant you are talking about it likely you will need to order it.

So basically the only one in store with 1TB is the i9 32GB ?

That is true in the US. I am not sure if it is different for the UK. What I would do to check, and how I checked that in the first place, is go to the website and try different configurations. If the inshore pickup option is today then you have found an option that is available at a local store. There seems to only be three of those in the US. Some other folks on the forum have also claimed that the stores sometimes stock other options but they don't get listed on the website so you could try that.

They also have the i9/32gb/1tb in stock in Hong Kong apple stores.
I think this is a universal high config that they have.
