What system for 500 euro/dollars?

Im getting a macbook next revision maxed out,
just want to know what sort of system i would be able to buy for 500€/$ ?
Just to keep me going and to learn how to use osx,
any ideas on what i could buy/should buy (Mac mini? Refurb? Power pc ?)

if you want to "learn" mac os x, you could stop by in the store;
once i had to go there early in the morning, not knowing i didn't make an appointment, so i made one when i was there, noticing some guy on tthe huge 30" screen; when i came back a couple HOURS later, the guy was still there, this time...on a chair!!! ahahhaha yea...save your monies on a nice camera or something...

You can get a Mac mini G4 for 300-400 EUR. I've even seen it at 250.
