In this side of the forum, we mostly own Android phones. Curious to know what tablet do you guys own, if any.

In my case, my phone is an S25 and my tablet is an iPad Air 11 M2 128GB. Being trying the iPadOS 26 beta and I have to say I'm not getting along too well with the new redesign. Too many legibility issues and the new multitasking, while great in theory, I'm having trouble to adjust to.

Just a simple swype gesture in any corner of the screen takes the app out of full screen, which I want to trigger ONLY with the bottom right surface, not ANY surface. These little things make my experience with the iPad worse, so I'm thinking of alternatives, like the new S11 Ultra or even the Surface Pro 12, which, I know, is more of a laptop than a tablet.

So, what tablet of choice are people around here rocking?

I have an ipad pro M4 11" and a galaxy tab s9+. The IPad is way more powerful, but I prefer the galaxy tab, as when taking notes, the s pen feels cheap compared to the apple pencil, but has a soft tip, so it doesn't clatter accross the screen, if you know what I mean. Copy and paste between my iPad and macbook is helpful, but alot of my uni work uses software that works better on windows.

iPad Pro M2 11... Went from iPad OS 26 beta to 18.6.. Absolutely want the split/slide screen functionality!

Gonna stay on 18.x as long as I possibly can.

1st gen iPad Pro 9.7" in a keyboard case is what I use (it is getting a bit slow). Wife uses a 4th gen mini.

I have a couple of older ones too that are hardly ever turned on. Even my iPad 2 still holds a charge!

Edit: daily driver is an HP C1030 2-in-1 Chromebook (that I rarely flip the display all the way around for tablet mode).

Tab S10+. Absolutely love it. It’s my first Android tablet and I’ve had no issues with it. I just wish it were brighter. The S11s are being announced tomorrow and the brightness has supposedly been improved by a lot. 👀

iPad Pro 11 M4 AND ZFold7 😁

I use my iPad more for consumption and the zFold7 for work stuff.
Can’t justify the cost / use case at present to move to another tablet and drop the iPad.

I feel that the IPP 13" has taken a more laptop role than a tablet for me. I take both everywhere but ever since i got the ZF7 I rarely took the IPP off the Magic Keyboard.

I do miss my Mini 6, but the battery life was so bad on it I had to give it up(3-4 hours tops). The screen even after countless returns was also a jello scroll uneven mess. That being said for me it had the perfect form factor, I would pay good money to either Samsung or Apple if they can make a foldable with this form factor.

iPad Pro M1 11"
iPad Pro M2 12.9"
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 14.6

Don't plan on upgrading any of them any time soon.

iPad Pro 12.9" 2018. Still feels new after 7 years. I use it as a travel laptop with the Magic Keyboard, and the battery is still healthy enough that I can recharge my iPhone and Air Pods on it and still have enough juice for a 12h+ door to door transatlantic trip. I use it a ton with the pen too, for mind mapping, scheduling, music scoring, planning etc. And I use it in portrait mode as a second monitor for work alongside my MBP M1 16". Really one of the best devices I've ever owned. The only thing I'd like to complement it with is an OLED iPad mini, if Apple ever makes that happen.
