When I bought my new iMac I bought it through the student discount and got "free" AirPods with them, and first now found out that they actually charged me full price for them. is this a joke? anyone else experienced this? and I sold them to half price cause I assumed they were FREE!

Did you buy directly from Apple? If you bought through a Premium reseller like Humac (Hello again btw) they don't come with AirPods. Also, if you bought straight from Apple, you didn't add them to the basket manually right?
In any case, do as MistrSynistr said :)

I bought them directly from Apple's website . didn't add manually, they got added by themselves after I ordered my iMac :) and I don't know how to get in "contact" with them

It will be pretty easy to get the money back, but as someone said above, are you sure you were actually charged?

Like someone said above, you should see a discount on the purchase price of the iMac. I purchased a MacBook for my daughter last year and we got her Beats with it. I was charged for the Beats but the total price of the MacBook was reduced by the price of the Beats.
