has anyone ever had a battery issue where it gets stuck on a percent, and then when you respring it goes back to normal.... for example mine got stuck the other day and I was like "wow, my battery is crazy good today" then I did a respring and it dropped from 77% to like 30

Wow that's strange. What kind of battery are you using? I want one.

Nice theme by the way.

It might be the issue described here, even though that particular post was from last year & was for 3.1.x. (Disclaimer: That post was mine.)

Essentially, older versions of iOS had the LOW_BATT_MSG_LEVEL message in SpringBoard.strings formatted differently than in 3.1.x (and presumably 4.x). Currently, iOS supplies the "xx%" as a string -- but the older message assumes that a numeric value is being passed in, with quite improbable numbers displayed as a result on-screen.

Because of the change, "lazy" older themes that incorporated all of the SpringBoard.strings file (rather than just changes needed by the theme) may have inadvertently included the "old" LOW_BATT_MSG_LEVEL message, which then messes up the displayed percent.

The fix is to look through the SpringBoard.strings files in any active themes, look for LOW_BATT_MSG_LEVEL, and if present either replace it with the correct value, or just delete it (and let the system default string take over).

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-gb) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

I don't think you'll ever need to charge your phone again :D

Where can I get a battery like yours? If that much % left is considered low, I'd love to see what full batt is. :D

Hmmmmm... that would give Apple an idea to come out with a phone that doesn't need charging for the next 5 yrs. :p

more importantly what theme is that your using?

The theme is from dBar. Slightly modified by myself. Along with Principium HD :)

It isn't really an issue. I quite like it for teh lulz.

All your battery are belong to me.

It's your ui images folder that's causing the problem . Most themes from Dbar do that especially the ones made by Tizzle. So just delete your UI popup and everything will be ok.

This seems more logical. As I only noticed this since I installed the theme I am using now.

For comical purposes, I shall leave it as is ^_____________^
