Well i tried installing itunes 8 the 30 time this month to fix the syncing problem but now i have a new problem when installing. It saids "service bonjour failed to start. verify that u have sufficient privileges to start system services" . Why is it saying this now? How do i verify it? Also what the hell is bonjour?

It's Apple's version of SFTP, WebDAV, etc.

Actually, it isn't - it's Apple's implementation of Zeroconf which is a service discovery protocol (i.e. used to advertise and discover services on your local network). It's most likely used within iTunes for identifying remote speakers and sharing / connecting to shared iTunes libraries.

The same thing happened to me. So I figured instead of downloading just update when I'm in a wifi spot cause right now my internet isn't working at home. When I updated I had no problems.
