Well i tried installing itunes 8 the 30 time this month to fix the syncing problem but now i have a new problem when installing. It saids "service bonjour failed to start. verify that u have sufficient privileges to start system services" . Why is it saying this now? How do i verify it? Also what the hell is bonjour?

Why do we need it? And why the hell does it keep failing to start along with mobile device support on my computer?
If you don't know what it is, you probably don't need it. It isn't necessary for iPod syncing.
If it's not letting him do stuff because it isn't started, then it apparently is needed.
Actually, it isn't - it's Apple's implementation of Zeroconf which is a service discovery protocol (i.e. used to advertise and discover services on your local network). It's most likely used within iTunes for identifying remote speakers and sharing / connecting to shared iTunes libraries.
I thought to myself, "Bonjour is an Apple thing, I bet they have some information about it." So I gave http://apple.com/bonjour a shot, and lo and behold...
