Turned my 2018 15" MBP on this morning to be confronted by a huge FedEx add right across the screen with a small window for my Yahoo home page. I cannot get rid of the huge add? As far as I know I have AddBlock running (but I can't find that either now)?

I updated to 10.14.6 the other day but it was all right last night when I went to bed. (I won't be going to Catalina any time soon!)

Any suggestions please? How can I get rid of this very annoying add and where has the Addblock gone??

There are several threads discussing changes to content blockers with the latest Safari updates.

If you suspect something more nefarious, download and install MalwareBytes.

Finally, stop using Yahoo. I’m not sure there’s a worse provider.

I have run both MalwareBytes and Onyx and everything is "clean". The FedEx add seems to be a screensaver, nothing to do with Yahoo and no matter what I do it won't go!
