Myself:

Dateglance - A much clearer time & date, than the stock complication.

Parcel - A superb shopping tracking app.

Stocard - Stores all of your loyalty cards.

You?

The two main ones I use are Authy, an app for displaying codes for two-factor authentication, and the one provided by the manufacturer of my car that I use for remote-starting it on particularly hot or cold days.

The two most used apps on my AW that I use are Carrot Weather (I’m constantly always checking the weather on my watch and iPhone) and PocketCasts for controlling and listening to podcasts.

Currently only using one: “Ocean Watch” which shows the tide.

IF (or maybe when) I travel I will check out how airline/hotel/car rental apps are doing on the AW

watchOS apps that are my favorite third party apps include the following:
  1. Peaks: It uses your heart rate and sleep tracking data from the Sleep app (built in by Apple) or a sleep app of your choice to map out your routine based on energy levels. Some widgets like the ones for the non-Modular Apple Watch faces and on iPhone lock screens or other advanced routines can be accessed via the Peaks Pro annual subscription, which you can get a year free if you choose to meet with the two young indie developers who created it. Also, it is made by Apple Watch wearers for the Apple Watch users who value their own health and wellness. No ads, just a minimalist design with simple buttons and things. There are peer reviewed articles associated with the information noted on how each activity in your routine affects your health.
  2. Plant Nanny: Though they need to add Smart Stack widget and brush the watchOS app to allow tracking of water intake without having to pull out your iPhone to do it, it is a great game that is free and the Fun version of WaterMinder. I used it since 2019 but now with live activities in the Lock Screen and/or Dynamic Island and into watchOS, it has far improved to even include features like Apple Watch face complications, themed levels and a lot of ways to earn more rewards. Only downside is that they now have a Pro subscription as well so the plant selections are a bit limited and only two big widgets are paywalled. Still you can add different types of complications on your Apple Watch faces, monitor your intake but they need to add a button in the watchOS app to track it from there, for those who take the cellular capabilities of their Apple Watch to the fullest extent. Ads are only on the bottom but only visible when looking at past plants you grown, only the pro subscription is necessary to remove it as you can also unlock the exclusive plants as you change landscapes in the levels in the iPhone app.
  3. MLB/NBA: They need to add features to check out highlights and summaries from the iPhone app but offers a lot of complications and Smart Stack widgets to check on your favorite games from your team of choice.
  4. Outlook: Checking your work email is easier than ever and you can use Outlook to do short replies or read all your hotmail and Exchange emails from your wrist. There are no Smart Stack complications or threaded emails for watchOS Outlook app, but the notification view lets you archive, reply or delete while you view an incoming message.
  5. Hit the Island: Perfect ping pong simple arcade game to play on your wrist while you wait in line or a little bored. There is only one level so plan on playing it wherever you need a quick game without your iPhone nearby.
