They're usually open at 12am PDT, which is 8am in the UK.

If you are ever unsure of a time difference just use the world clock on the iPhone and set a clock for the one you are curious about. I do that regularly because I live in Hawaii which does not observe daylight savings time so half of the year the time change is different by an hour.

I don't know if the usual pre-order times will work with the Apple Watch.

12am PDT on the 10th April would be 6pm on the 10th April in Sydney, Australia. However, the Apple Watches would have already been available for viewing at the Apple Store since 9am (9 hours earlier).

I visited the Apple Store in Sydney and confirmed that the Apple Watch would be available for viewing on the 10th April when the store opened (which would be 3pm on the 9th April in the US). I don't think they would have the watches available for viewing but not have pre-orders open until later in the day.
