So yes, this is redundant, but I wanted to include a poll this time. That, and I wanted to get a couple more opinions so that I don't go too early or too late. And once again, if it helps, Apple Store in Ardmore Pennsylvania if anyone wants to look at it or something.

EDIT: Also, a post with a little reasoning as to why you chose what you chose would be much appreciated. I'm a total noob to this :p
 
For the iPad 2 I had to line up 9 hours in advance and I was the first 10 people to get one at my store so if you want one for sure go really early. LIke 3-4 AM.

What sort of store was it? As in location and such.
 
I would get there as early as possible, and just chill in your car until you see more people coming.

Watching a movie would be awesome! If I had something to watch it on. Already sold my iPhone, so I'm using a dumbphone and my girlfriend who should be coming also has a dumbphone.

1st time lining up, and I have a line etiquette question.

We are purchasing 2 iPhone 4s's for 2 lines on a family plan (wife and me).

Can I line up, and then call my wife before the doors open, and she can join me in line? Has anyone "saved a spot" for a family member like this before?

Just talked to Apple, and she has to be there too in order to activate her phone and sign the contract (I can't do it for her).

Well despite me never being in line for something like this before, I know that someone who buys an iPhone will bring a friend or two, so that they can hold the spot for them while they go to the loo or what have you. Either that or you're gonna end up taking a dump in line. I don't see why not. Although people might not be happy with someone coming out of nowhere who wasn't in line most of the time.

when she arrives make her kiss you (w/ passion is even better I think) so they know she is w/ you and are together...


For the TS, I would say now if you really want one for sure tomorrow...
For the hours is because of lines, early so you get in & out fast; late morning for this ex.6am so the line has gone down and if there are iPhones left you are in luck and saved time if not the possibility of getting one in between hours doing a line should be similarly slim as the line @6

That seems a wee bit ridiculous based on its location.
