Midnight Cupertino time. (8 EST)
My question is will stores open early? Like 8AM? I think my mall typically opens at 10AM. but I think for these types of events the Apple Store opens early. But I think its not till 9AM.

Midnight Cupertino is a whole different time than in Germany....I personally hope the orders can be done worldwide at midnight.
Afaik every countries AppleOnlineStore has its own stock...
Ya that's tough. So do they allot so many phones to each time zone? Each time zone should get the same chance to get one before ship times slip to 1-2 weeks, etc.
Imagine in the US if the east coast starts ordering and 3 hours later when it's midnight on the west coast ship times are 2-3 weeks?

That was my thought process as well, people in New York will get it asap, while Californians will be stuck with long waits.
Doesn't matter. The iMac went up worldwide on the Apple store at midnight Cupertino time. So 8am in the Uk. Same with retina MBP and 3rd gen iPad. All midnight cuertino time worldwide on the apple store.
