title says it all. If v2 is released next week what time will we be able to buy? Will it be released in stages worldwide or will we all have to wait until 08:00 CET?

I think what the OP is getting at is when do we think the actual software firmware update will be released for old iPod touches and iPhones.

I would personally guess at about 5pm UK time.

Oh, the Software.
Anywhere from 7AM - 1PM, 99% chance no later than 1PM since all iPhone 3G users will have it by 7AM, which means the App Store will have already been launched at 7AM. Remember though, you need iTunes 7.7 to upgrade to 2.0.
