what to buy? iPad 2 or iPhone 4s?

Basically I have around 700 laying around to reward my self for my hard work.

What do you guys think is a better choice ?
Need vs want is a different thing. Obviously I don't need either, since I already have iPhone 4 32gb. I just want a new toy, but certainly don't need one.

Both will be bought out of contact,
iPad 2, 16gb+ 3g = 629
iPhone 4s 16gb, =649

Cost to manufacture iPad 2= 326.60 and cost to manufacture iPhone 4s= 188.
So maybe iPad 2 is a better deal?

Out of two which would you get if you wanted a new iToy?

don't bother buying the ipad 2 if you already have an iphone 4. I found it pretty much boring after a week since its just like the iphone.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

If you feel like your iPhone needs an upgrade, get an iPhone. The iPad will be upgraded sooner, so you will feel like your on the edge of technology longer

Then again, if the iPhone 4 doesn't feel slow, battery life is a little better with the 4, and an iPad is just really cool to play around with. Web browsing is amazing on it, and so is consuming media. I'd probably go for an iPad (few people can see your's is not a 4s anyway).

If you don't have a Mac, get a Mac Mini or MacBook Air.

As others have said, if you don't have a mac, I'd pick up a mac mini to get you to really understand the entire Apple ecosystem. Having said that, I have an iPhone 4S and the upgrade from iPhone 4 was more substantial for me than the upgrade from iPad Original to iPad 2 (which I also own, but in reality it's just something that sits on a coffee table and allows me INSTANT access to the internet without having to fire up a laptop + game and very little on productivity for me at least). I don't do any photo editing on the iPad. In fact it's an oversized iPod Touch if I am perfectly honest and not a patch on the iPhone 4S in my opinion.

Id go for the iPad 2. You already have the 4 and I just don't see the 4S being that big of an upgrade. That said Im debating getting the 4S myself.
