I'm looking forward to my new school year and I want to upgrade my current asus laptop to a macbook pro.

My current computer is at 1.66ghz dual core with a 3gb ram, and a nvidic 9500m GS. Currently, it can play CoD4 at the lowest graphics setting and is unable to play anything greater than 720p.

I'm looking for a laptop that can play bluray quality movies, can play games such as Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare 2 etc.

I was wondering if there is a noticable difference between the macbook pro with the processor speed of 2.66 with 2xgraphics cards at 256 mb vs 2.8ghz and 2x graphics card with 512 mb

if your playing cod4, the 512 card will probably let you play it at max settings or just a bit under that without any lag. i suggest go with the 2.8 with 512mb graphics card
