I am having an issue with my Mac Mini. iTunes and Siri are opening up on their own. This is not during a restart. It happens while I'm doing things like looking at the Web or working on a Word document. Sometimes I can close the app and it will stop for a while, but other times I have to close the app multiple times before the behavior stops. Rebooting does not fix the issue either.

I don't think it is malware, since I ran Malwarebytes multiple times and nothing is coming up. Also, I seem to remember this happening on my iMac several years ago. I'm pretty sure that I had to do a fresh install on my iMac to clean up the problem back then. Are there any suggestions on how to fix this, or am I better off just starting off with a fresh install?

Just to make sure: could this be a shortcut typo? If you are typing and accidentally make mistake which looks like shortcut assigned to start application, you could be triggering this yourself. Could also be sticky or oversensitive key on keyboard, so try with different keyboard if possible. I had keyboards fail in weird ways.
You can check what shortcuts are assigned (if any) to iTunes and Siri in System preferences>Keyboard.
