iPod touch What to do about proxy server

Here is my situation. I run a network at a school. We use DSL, it's hooked directly into an XP box running Winproxy (internet sharing software). A wifi router hooks into that. I gave the IPT a static IP address and Safari works great

But nothing else works, no mail, calendar, weather, youtube, pandora, etc... These all work fine on my home wifi so it's got to be the proxy. My proxy address is set up correctly in the IPT since internet works fine.

Any ideas...
