Ok, so my 3 DAY OLD iMac crashed. Why? I was trying to save a movie with iMovie 06 (Better than 08) and some jerk was constantly sending me Messages and trying to call me on Skype at the same time.

Basically, is there anything I need to do after a crash like this? (I held the power button down and restarted my machine)

All help appreciated.

check your permissions in Disk Utility (off the disk) don't panic. easier solutions. find a decent forum. i.e . macforums or apple discussions. go to the park...

I think my disk is ok.

I spoke to my friend who works at Apple Store Regent Street and he said it should be fine... but I needed a second opinion (Well, other opinions).

After having my iMac for 3 days, I'm just horrified that it had a crash so soon.

I also thought it had a stuck pixel, but the restart sorted that out.

No OS is bulletproof. My PowerBook has crashed a couple of times. It's kinda nostalgic of my Windows days...
