I am unlocking my brothers 3G 3.1.2 jb phone. I will not be doing this until friday when I buy him an iPhone 4.

My question is we want to put this 3g phone to verizon so after the unlock what do I do?

You aren't able to put an iPhone 3G onto Verizon. An iPhone 4, maybe, because it shares some hardware with that of some Droid models, but nothing has been done yet.

You can't use any iPhone on Verizon's network. Needs different hardware.

The only other carrier you can use your iPhone in the US is T-mobile (no 3G). current Verizon network is not supported by the Hardware.

True, and untrue.

No current iphone will work with Verizon, due to different hardware required to connect to their towers. There is no way to make it work, and no one ever has.

Wait and see, there may be a Veriphone in January.

For a moment there I thought I was finally going to read a post by someone who knew what they were talking about.
