Hi,

I broke the LCD cable while repairing my iPhone 4 (but the digitizer cable is intact).

I want to take out that broken LCD cable fro the screen but it seems difficult to separate the LCD screen from the front glass.

What can I do to repair it? Should I buy again the whole screen again? Or should I try and disconnect that LCD cable and buy a new cable? (this is the cheapest option)

Also, I couldn't find a video tutorial that explains how to do that precise repair.

Thanks a lot if you could help.

Replacement screens (the whole unit) are $20, I think it would be incredibly difficult to attempt any other method. I didn't even know they sold a replacement lcd cable.. Are you sure it's not an extention test cable? Just buy the whole thing (LCD/digitizer combo) again.
