What to do - Virus?

Last night I started 3:00am I started to get text messages form a number almost like mine. My # ending in 6955 and the texts were coming from a # ending in 6944. The text were forwards of text from people I didn't know and text alerts from local traffic radio.

I sent a text saying wrong number. 2 mins later I got that text sent to me from me.

I put my phone in airplane mode for now. Should I take it to AT&T or Apple or is there a fix?

It's not a virus, but something is clearly wrong... Check the number that iMessage is using.

How do I check the #. I'm on a 4s.
the only number i see is the one that says received at and it's my #

I don't want to plug it in to my computer to charge for fear of infecting my computer...

Since your phone is not infected there is no chance of that happening.
