Hi guys!

Next week my iPhone 4S arrives, and want to know what should I do when I get it. Give it a full battery charge? Wait until is empty and then totally charge it?...

Maybe is a dumb question, but reading all those problems people is having with the battery issue I wanna give my iPhone a good start... haha

Hugs! x

Have a look at this thread.

You should promptly return it after it comes. As you may have read, the iPhone 4S has been plagued with battery problems.

Go thru settings to find out the battery killers. Most people who are complaining about the battery NEVER touch the settings

a good idea would to turn OFF the battery percentage

update to 5.0.1 if it isn't already installed

Its nothing to do with your battery. The lithium battery life is not determined by how long have you used it, but it is determined by how many times it has been CHARGED. I

The 4S battery problem is cause by software rather than hardware I guess. As long as you turn iCloud and Siri off while they are not in use. The batter life should be ok... good luck!!
