What to do with a Graphite Airport Base Station?

This has been sitting around the house ~6 months and has no function i can readily see.... from what I've read, it's incompatible with the WDS bridge network operating all over our house.
Any suggestions? I was thinking of taking it apart and taking out the Orinoco WaveLAN card to use in my Dell Inspiron.....

Wasn't this the first generation of them? If yes I guess it would be rather slow.

Well if this device is going to be used for internet access for WiFi clients, it will be just fine. Unless you have an internet connection that is faster than 11mbps which I highly doubt .

I have one of these that I use when I go out of town and need to use a hotel cabled internet connection. I then connect this device and make a wifi network that I can use at the hotel room so I don't have to sit at their crappy little desk!
