What to do with a printing error trying to setup HP PSC 2410

I am unable to establish a printer connecton with HP PSC 2410 printer. I can test run a page but when it comes to printing my work I get an error message.
Any ideas?

Are you using Snow Leopard?
And have you made sure you have the latest printer driver?
