What to do with DMG's?

This is a big beginners question that I've never really thought about; what do you do with DMG's after you have installed an application with one?

Do you just delete them, or archive them in a dedicated folder?

I just delete them, unless they're more than 500MB then I'll burn to CD / DVD as a back up. Anything smaller can be downloaded again in a reasonable time.

its just like an installer in Windows. i usually delete them once ive installed. same goes for DMGs once ive dragged the application to the Applications folder or used the provided installer.

but if you dont have a good backup plan it might be wise to archive the big ones as bartelby suggested.
