What to do with iMovie and iPhoto when drive fills up

Deleting is the only other option, when your out of space your out.
So long story short, delete or move, moving means a external drive of some sort.
Sorry to sound harsh, but it sounds like you need a new Mac with a much larger hard drive.

There are all sorts of half assed solutions, like this one:

I say half-assed because they're slow and not really suitable for moving your iPhoto database on there. The only way is to indeed move your stuff to an external drive, and then run regular backups of that drive.
