What to do with my life

I am at that point in my life where I dont no what to do and need to make a decision.

Abit about myself

I am 19 years old and live in Devon

I am currently at college studying Media studies and Travel and Tourism, bother together they are worth 3 A Levels.

I have 2 part time jobs, 1 is at a holiday park working in Burger King, quite enjoy it as it can be a laugh and it is rather easy.

My other job is working at a primary school looking after the kids at the After School Club. I enjoy this job.


My interests are Photography, Cars (cars that are modified in a smart way) and just generally going out etc

One option is to.....

go Uni, But what to study at Uni? I dont have a clue. Maybe a foundation degree in public services as ive always wanted to join the police force.

The other option was to go to college and learn a trade, like plastering etc. But I don't have a great interest in that, maybe learning it will change my thought. There are so many young people doing this sort of stuff and the market would be competitive.

I finish college in like 1 week

I would like to just get a job and earn money, but I think that will go no where and I would of let my parents down as they want me to do well in life.

So any advice will be most helpful

Whatever you do don't do anything hoping to get into it later, follow your heart and do what you're enthusiastic about now. If you end up doing something you hate the cost of retraining is rather high.

Porn. Always a good field to be in. I should've gone into it right after school. Damn Computer Science degree.

Why would you want a degree in public service if you want to join the police force. From what I understand there is no minimum education requirement for police force in the UK.

It's impossible to even give suggestion since you didn't give a lot of information about yourself. What was your favorite subject in school? What are your strengths and weakness? Is there anything in your life that you find easier than other people?

I think it's best to start looking at what your strengths are since people typically enjoy doing what they are good at. And see if there is any career that you can utilize your strengths.

Since you mentioned that you interested in cars may be you should look into becoming a mechanic or mechanical engineer if you're good at math and physics.
