What to do with old HD platters?

I just finished disassembling the HD out of my old Dell box and now I'm curious what to do with the platters. They so clean and shiny it seems a shame to physically destroy them (although platter vs. .45 ACP would be an interesting comparison) but I am stunningly non-creative this morning and can't seem to come up with any good ideas.

I use one as a personal mirror for in my room. It's not huge so that people think im vain and because its perfectly flat and a litteral "mirror polish finish" it shows everythigni in horrible detail!
