I have an S3 I just took out of my drawer after a 2 year hiatus.. I received it as a birthday present and I loved it initially, but I never got to fully utilize it as a result of the whole COVID lockdowns and fiascos. Since it barely left my house it's in almost new condition facade wise, it's a bit slow and laggy but the apps seem to work fine otherwise. It's currently not updated to the latest OS though. I'd like to incorporate it more into my day to day just because I feel a little guilty for never using it.

Any ideas?

I'm also not really active lifestyle wise, that probably contributes to why I struggle to justify carrying it around. So I'd appreciate any ideas from my fellow poor AND lazy users here😭

Just use it. A family member of mine has an old S3 and they like it just fine. If you compare it to a lot of other smart devices that are currently sold it still holds up pretty well and besides you can you know, use it as a watch.

Yeah, I was browsing a few reddit threads and the plurality seem to view any series less than a 6 as useless prehistoric artifacts, which confused me. It's slow but it honestly works fine, like it's not as if you can do anything profound with an apple watch anyways (and especially not if your not into fitness or health monitoring)
