Hey guys. I've been wanting a power mac g5 just to mess around with and use as a file server and home made / ran web server, home media server, music server and i was wondering if this is a good deal I'm getting. $350 for:
Apple PowerMac G5 Tower
Single Core 1.6 GHz Processor Speed
1.5 GB RAM
120 GB Hard Drive
DVD-RW Drive
Operating System- 10.5.1 Leopard
ilife 08

I know its the cheapest PM G5 you can get but other than that I dont think I'll be doing CS3 on it much, I have a nice PC for that and games, but I was just wondering? Oh, I'm also gonna pop in a 1TB hard drive.

Thanks in advance.

I think he's right... not the greatest deal. If you want a G5, go for a dual processor or dual core model; single-CPU/single-core computers are just too outdated to make sense getting if you intend to really use it.
