I personally hope for an updated iPod mini...5G iPods will probably be MWSF. Maybe a new PowerMac. Thoughts on Steve's "one more thing"?

if its not released before hand - i would expect tiger and a new dual 3 ghz g5

Duff-Man says...once again....much too early to be getting into realistic speculation as to what may come at WWDC...a lot can happen between now and the end of June and some of those "expected" things will no doubt appear beforehand...talk to us again at the beginning of June when things can be put into better perspective...oh yeah!
Hm, iBooks maybe... iPod mini another maybe. iMac speed bumps? iTunes 5? The Galaxy audio input breakout box thingy? Some Mac mini add-on devices?
Those are just some possible things that I can see coming sometime this year.

WWDC is a conference specifically for developers. iPod/iMac/iBook updates have never been released at WWDC. Expect new PowerMac revisions and "hopefully" some type of new dual-core G4 (more likely) or G5 Powerbook (we wish). At the rate we are going, WWDC may be the launch of Tiger. It's going to be weird not having Steve demo the next version of Mac OS X (after Tiger). I can see Steve saying, "Tiger launched just less than 1 month ago, and we already have had X purchased, making this Apple's most successful O/S launch ever."
I would predict a "Music Event" in April to mark the anniversary of the iTunes Music Store, which will include updates to the iPod line.

The clickwheel was a much need improvement to the iPod line, but I don't see how Apple can improve it much more unless they include a color screen standard (and somehow keep the current size). Longer battery life, new earphones, new remote, etc are all realistic possibilities.
I don't expect the iPod line's form factor to be redesigned until 2006.

Apple likes to sidetrack users and the industry with they comments. I don't believe they are sleeping, however just waiting on the low powered G5 chips that are due to release Q1 2005. a 3 month testing period should be more then enough. Maybe even an HD 17" screen to give the PB line worth the "Power" name.
Mobile SATA is a given at this point.

so you guys thing that upgraded powermacs will only be introduced at WWDC not like in the next 2 or 3 months? Cause it has been a while since they have announced any change to them. Any other opinions on this?
That would make my day!The perfect consumer machine! I would say just a product shuffle with a 2.3 powermac dual and a base 2.0 single and then 2.0 dual with still a 2.5 liquid cooled beast. I dont think we will see a dual 3.0 anytime soon. This with a early Tiger release say in Late march or early April.
