my old trustworthy 2011 MBA is dying on me (Mainboard issues, defect ports etc.). Since i am no longer a student and i have a iPad pro for mobile use i was planning to get an iMac for my girlfriend and me, since we would love a more capable machine for photo/video editing etc. that we can both use at home.
I am not familiar with the apple promotions (except for "back to school" which i unfortunately missed, MBA was still working then), but is there a chance for apple giving a significant discount on black friday? Of course i googled a bit and found that in fact there is a lot of discounts going on on black friday however i was not able to get an idea of "how much" that will be especially concerning the iMac.. I also have found sources that there has been "only" gift cards as a promotion when buying an apple product?
So being german, can some of the American and more familiar with black friday macrumors members share their experience regarding mac discounts on black friday? Of course i am aware that other sellers like amazon etc. will have discounts but i am looking to buy directly from apple..
Any help or tips where i can find that info myself is highly appreciated!
