What to get

So im a EE student and trough my school scholarship i can get a free laptop.. I currently have a MBP 13" 2009 edition which i take to school and mainly do micro programming, web browsing and word processing.

So i wanted something a bit lighter and with better processing power and got my self a Samsung 9 series... But i have the touchpad so ima return it...

What should i get a MBP 13" or wait for the MBA refresh and get an Air?

pst: Most of the processor/resource intense stuff i do it at my desktop (i7/16GB of ram, blah blah) or at the uni lab...

I'd wait a bit and see what the Air has to offer.

If you don't need/want it right now - there is no harm in waiting for the new MBA and then making a comparison and decision.

MBA will be perfect for what you do. Like others have said, wait to see what latest refresh will bring and then make your decision.
