What to look for when buying AppleCare online?

Hey guys,
I've never purchased AppleCare before, but I notice its alot cheaper from places like ebay and such.

My only problem is, how do I know if they're legit? How is the registering process for AppleCare work?

Is there anything special I should look for when searching places like ebay?

Thanks for the heads up. I think I may just pay the extra and get it from Apple for the peace of mind.
