a) how should i start it up?
like should i charge it for 24 hours? or something?
b) i used a 1g touch runing 1.5, and it was slow and froze alot, is most of that fixed w/ the 2g/2.2?

c) what can i expect?

THANKS YOU!

  1. Start it up by plugging it into your computer/turning it on.
  2. Assuming no problems, and going on my own experience, the iPod Touch 2G with 2.2 is smooth and stable. :D
  3. You can expect an iPod touch. :p
  4. Good tips: If you're a runner, pick up a nike+ thingamajigger. Pick up a mic adapter with a "no mic" button. I have the Philips mic iphone adapter. It allows you to play/pause songs, and skip forward. Get a case. I recommend a switcheasy case.

Well the 2.2 is also for the 1g... and mine runs very smooth (1g). Maybe something was wrong with yours? Also be aware the 2g can not be jailbroken(yet)

I'm having the same prob. but only with X-mas. I really do want to get an ipod touch, but I'm actually hearing alot of bad stuff about them. Like 4 ex. the muddy LCD screen, or the stunted calendar. Im beggining to lean towards a nintendo DS or something of that type.

iTouch >> Nintendo DS

get the touch, trust me. it's are capabilities are endless (except not) but ya know

Whattt? Dude, get an iPod Touch. All devices have their problems.

Unless you already have DS games, the iPod is clearly better. Even the new DSi, which isn't available anywhere except Japan, is inferior in almost every way.
