I don't think there is any relation. They made the new GPU available since that is apparently something AMD can make now. Whether we will get an incremental CPU update or not is a completely different question. I'd say yes, once Intel has sufficient availability of Comet Lake parts (probably by the end of summer).

Well it’s irrelevant since the 16” have a crippling slow IPS display panel that’s Unuseable by any standards it hardly matters what GPU is inside.
